RIKYU Kit of Parts MODULAR DESIGN SYSTEMGREEN Building upon over 30 years of experience of using fallen trees from neighborhood urban forests, our design incorporates the beauty and the visible shape of the natural tree into a material that meets contemporary building requirements. Through the use of materials salvaged from local sources, we promote a more sustainable environment. 
FLEXIBLE Based upon an 8 x 8 foot module, we can create structures of varying sizes and arrangements from as small as 100 square feet or as large as a three-bedroom home, designed to meet the needs of the owner, site and budget. Components are standardized to the design within the grid system. All components are prefabricated in our shop in Oakland, California, then shipped to the building site and assembled on your foundation. ASIAN INSPIRED Using the woodworking techniques of traditional Japan coupled with contemporary engineering and convenience, this modular design system reflects a pre-industrial aesthetic and a postmodern environmental sensitivity.
