MANHATTAN LOFT

The space itself was 2,500 sq. ft.; a white box with eleven foot ceilings, a long row of windows facing south east and one additional window facing north toward midtown, and structural beams crossing at odd angles to the row of windows. We considered three primary elements in designing the new space: orientation, elevation, and contact with nature.

We treated the rock garden as an outdoor space.
